Starting with a new leather wallet: letting Italian leather settle in gently

Hello, Yuki Uno here.
When a new leather wallet arrives, you may want to move everything from the old one straight away. But with an unfamiliar design, getting used to it gradually is another good approach. Here is what to check as you begin using an Italian leather wallet.
Check the storage layout before moving your contents
First, open it empty and look at the spaces for cards, notes and coins. Pocket positions may differ from your old wallet. Comparing with interior photos on the product page helps you plan the first arrangement.
Check how notes fold, how the coin gusset moves and which way cards come out. Understanding the new wallet before filling it as usual is reassuring. Try putting things in and taking them out at home before taking it out to pay.
Deciding where things go back—such as keeping frequently used cards at the front—also helps. Just after switching from a familiar wallet, you may forget where you put something. It is time for your movements, as well as the wallet's shape, to settle in gradually.
Begin with an amount that closes comfortably
You do not need to force all your belongings into a new leather wallet. Filled thickness changes with card types and coin quantities. Start with daily essentials, checking that the snap or flap closes naturally.
The compact wallet ao has a listed capacity of six cards in total across two card pockets on its product page. But banknotes and coins also affect the whole wallet's thickness, so do not judge available space by card count alone.
If you need to pull hard to remove something or press down contents to close it, review the amount or arrangement first. If unsure about storage, contact us with the contents' types or photos of the filled wallet.

Enjoy the leather settling in without rushing
Bluno's compact wallets begin with a slightly plump shape. Italian leather softens through daily use and gradually adapts to your hand and habits. We hope you can enjoy the initial appearance as part of the pleasure of a new piece.
There is no need to knead the leather hard or force pockets wider to break it in. Begin with normal contents and ordinary opening and closing. If it feels tight, contact us rather than trying to solve it with force.
Color, luster and shape change differently with use and environment. Rather than expecting a certain color in a set number of days, watch your own wallet. Taking a photo when it arrives also gives you something to enjoy looking back at.

Keep initial care simple
A new wallet does not need plenty of leather cream before use. Bluno's leather contains oils, and we do not recommend frequently adding more. Normally, wipe with a soft, dry cloth and brush lightly when dust needs removing.
For rainy days, also consider where you carry it—for example, away from wet umbrellas or clothes. Knowing handling suited to the material helps you see small daily precautions without adding special tasks.
If something concerns you when starting use, do not force yourself to keep using it; contact us. Detailed care guidance is available here. We hope you enjoy the time as a new leather wallet naturally becomes part of your everyday belongings.
