Tin is one of the materials used in the traditional crafts passed down in Toyama Prefecture, Japan.
At Bluno, we cast the tin ourselves and combine it with leather.
By bringing one form of handwork together with another,
we create a quiet presence found nowhere else.

⚪︎About the material

We use vegetable-tanned leather made in Tuscany, Italy.
Using natural ingredients from plants such as mimosa and chestnut trees, it is carefully tanned for over 1 year using traditional methods.
Rich in oils, the leather develops a greater sheen and deeper color the more it is used.

We value the natural character of leather, so each piece has its own individual variations.

⚪︎How it is made

Each piece is made entirely by hand stitching.
It takes time, but the result is a durable construction made to last.

We also offer repairs, including loose stitching and hardware replacement,
so you can continue to enjoy your wallet as it ages over the years.
